Pastor's Heart
God has truly blessed us this past month. You all have been working so diligently for the
Lord and I want to commend you for all of your hard work. We began the month with a fish
fry at Minden's Wal-Mart and we had a wonderful fellowship there. We began the process
to purchase property behind the church and what an anwesome opportunity that is for our
church. The "Fixers" have done so much at the church I do not even know where
to begin, but from my heart thank you "Fixers". Soup and Salad on Second
Thursday of September was incredible, we had over people attend. We began the Birthday
Calendar which was fun, fun, fun, and started a Children's Church on Sundays which I am
projecting will draw more and more families to our church. Gene has been doing such a
wonderful job with the website, and Dustin and Jake threw me for a loop at the defense
classes. Bodcau, Bodcau, Bodcau, what a fun time we had at Bodcau. Then to wrap it up
we had a truly incredible Revival. All I can say is we have been busy this past month
and that is a good thing.
I am reminded of the time when Jesus had gone missing and Mary and Joseph went searching
for him. They finally found him in the temple teaching and when asked what he was doing
Jesus replied, "I am about my Father's business." You all have been about your
Father's business this month and I believe with all of my heart that He is going to honor
you and lift you up for all your endeavors. Always remember that I love you and care for
all of you. Please keep my father in law in your prayers and my brother in law Steven
Allen. A long story short he had a kidney transplant a few years ago and this past week
was hit by a baseball to his head. He is in serious condition at a hospital in Tyler.
So please keep them in your prayers.
In Christ's Love
Bro. Bill
