The church anew process is trying to answer those questions.
What is the Church Anew Process? It is an organizational process that
strives to evaluate each church's personal settings to help them improve
their ministries,worship, and growth.
What is the Core Team? A panel of people selected by the church to help
guide the church into a new era of growth both physically and spiritually.
What is the Core Team doing currently? They have just finished training
for Discerning God's Call and are currently selecting individuals from our
church to sit on the Vision Panel.
What is a Vision Panel? The vision panel is a group of spiritually sound
people in our church that will meet to seek God through prayer and bible
study to discern the vision that God has for our Church. They will compose
a vision statement for the church that will act as a guide to all fascets
of our Church's growth.
What is coming up? The entire church will be invited to bible studies to
be held in homes. At these bible studies we will learn how to discern
God's call on our lives.
What is a Vision Retreat? There will be a vision retreat for the church
body to attend. At this retreat the church will decide what direction and
actions we as God's children need to perform in order to fulfill God's
vision for our Church. At this retreat we will begin to make plans by
creating goals, objectives and mission statement.
What does this mean to me? It means that God is working with you and the
rest of the congregation to draw us closer to exactly what God wants us to
become.

Pastor's Corner
First let me say I am so glad that you have visited our church by way of
the web. From my heart I want to say that our Church is such a loving and
accepting church that will embrace you and your family in God's love. We
are presently in a great process called Church Anew that I feel God is
going to use to expand us spiritually and physically. I am so excited by
the enthusiasm that is present in our congregation because God's spirit is
overflowing bountifully at Doyline United Methodist Church.
If you are looking for a church home where you will be loved and treated
as a friend rather than a member this is the church for you. I know
personally that the people here have made my family and me feel so
welcome. When we come to church on sunday we literally feel like we are
home. God's presence is so strong in this place.
